I love to work. That is what I decided today. It feels so good to be on my feet having to do something. My first day was pretty interesting. The manager was different than the one that hired me, and had not been informed that I was starting today. So she got all the paperwork... which we didn't know quite how to fill out. Hopefully my taxes will be okay, and they won't register me for welfare. (Those were the 2 scary forms). The girls I work with are really nice, and the cooks are nice too. It was quite an eventful first day. There was a CREW game tonight, so it was PACKED. But I got lots of practice on the register. Lots of weird stuff. And people actually gave me tips... I'm sure it's because I kept telling people it was my first day. All in all, I think it was a successful first 4.45 hours. After all, I made $4 in tips! I work again tomorrow.
But yes, I thought how nice it was to be able to work all evening. I like making money and not just sitting around.
In other news... CUMBERLAND is coming up this weekend! I'm looking forwards to the family reunion. It will be lots of fun. I miss the extended family.
