Oh Boy... I'm in Trouble

This blog needs to have an attachment so that when I actually update it will let you know. I am awful at consistently blogging. It didn't help that I didn't have internet in my apartment for 2.5 months, but there was still not really any excuse. What can I say... I'm a loser.

I would say that I don't blog much because my life is fairly stable, and nothing new and exciting really happens to discuss... but again, that's a lie. This summer has been a blast. I got to see Cecilia and Leah a TON! We did dinner nights a few times a week together, and it was simply wonderful.

I also got a job working full time for a genetic counselor (it was 2, but then I finished the project for one of them). The counselors I work for are in clinical cancer genetics at OSU. I really like everyone I work with, it's a great environment. I have learned a ton, and feel it is yet again a good fit for me. I'm so excited to get a move on in this career. Applications, GRE... here I come...

One of the highlights of my summer had to be White Water Rafting. I went with several of my close friends. What a blast. I'm ready to go back!! We went to the New River in West Virginia. Gorgeous.

See? That was our crew.

Cecilia started graduate school at Pittsburg already, and she said she's loving it. So that's good.

Now for the bad news... I don't like to complain/ freak out on my blog. I'm not sure why, but I try to avoid it. In reality, I am scared to death about fall quarter. Why?? Let's see what I have on my plate:

Course 1: We start out with an appealing 18 credit hours of class (3 of which go towards course 2)
Course 2: The credit hours are complimented by finding time to finish my survey for my thesis project, and actually having people take it!
Course 3: For an extra spicy new addition to the menu I will be taking the GRE
Course 4: The spice of course three will set the palate to truly enjoy applying to 8-9 graduate schools (can we say essay's??)
Course 5: Just for desert I decided to add 10-15 hours a week working at the clinical cancer genetic facility.

And of course I will wash that all down with 2 hours a week of test counseling, and the ever more delicious hours of studying!

Hopefully this will all settle well... because I don't like to complain on this blog! (did I mention that?) So if you wonder why I don't update... think about how full I already am... I'm already studying for the GRE, and well... we won't go there.

I almost thought; "I won't check her blog, she never posts". To my surprise it didn't say "my Chicago Pictures". Try to squeeze us in. We like hearing what's happening.
