crap... I started a post a while ago, and never finished editing it to post. In fact I have no idea what it was about, so I will have to go back and check. I swore I had posted in December since there was so much to talk about!
I cannot believe that January is pretty much done. Time is flying! (Thank goodness) We are in week 4 and I'm still sane! I'm loving classes, and feeling much better about this semester. I'm excited to start preparing to work with actors, to start working on my thesis, and well... to finish up all this learning so that I can start doing! I still love the fact that I don't start doing until I have the basics under my belt. I think that should help build my confidence.
I wanted to post quickly today to track this date... I may have the opportunity to do an AMAZING thesis project. Like beyond my wildest dreams. Results on par with what I may have been able to achieve with a PhD... well, in theory. I can't reveal any details yet. But I have a meeting tomorrow to discuss the details and see if it's possible for me to jump on this project they are considering having me do. I may have to write the grant proposal and all my materials for the project in 2 weeks! While I have never done one before, I have great people to help me... and I think it would be a wonderful experience. Right up my ally. Research similar to what I want to be able to include with my genetic counseling in the future.
Now, in all reality it may not happen. The deadline may be next week, and so we may be too late to jump onto this larger scale project. But IF it goes through I will certainly be busy getting started on a fascinating new job for my GSR!
Ok, later I will read what I wanted to post in December/ early January.
