Wow, it's been a long time since I last posted. My entire winter break has now come to its last day. It was a crazy winter break!! I drifted between Cincinnati and Geneva, and enjoyed getting to see lots of family. For the most part break was relaxing, except for my crazy travel schedule! I really wish Dave and I didn't have homes that were FIVE hours apart. The good thing is we now have places to break up the trip a little.
I ate VERY good over break. Everywhere I went there was good food! And LOTS of it! mmmm... So much for losing 9 pounds last quarter, I gained at least 6 back! But I enjoyed every bite of it!
New Years was great, except for the splitting sinus headache I got around 11:15. I took a half hour nap and some advil, then woke up to greet the New Year... tapped glasses of champaigne, shared a New Years kiss... then decided I should go to sleep. How exciting am I? :) Last night was fun. Dave and I decided to use our gift certificate from Jon and Rachel to Longhorn Steakhouse. We decided not to use our free appetizer because we weren't hungry enough, and thought to save it for a second trip out there. I ended up being hungrier than I thought and basically my whole salad, almost my entire steak and baked potato, and about half of the bread they had left. Not to mention I finished my beer. Mmmmm... After dinner we came back and had a game night. We decided it was the longest amount of time spent in the guys living room without football or beer for the entire year. We must have played games for about 4 hours. Mad Gab, Taboo, and Imagine Iff. It was great fun!
Well, now it's time for me to go book shopping before the bowl game tonight! GO BUCKS!!
