Good First Full Week

My first full week of classes went well. Here's a cap of some exciting things from this week. (and oddly, I don't mean that in a sarcastic way!)

  • I met my friend Mary after classes and chatted with her at my place for a couple hours!
  • I realized that while my EEOB professor is going to be a very hard tester, he is a very interesting lecturer. (aka-- I may not know how to do my assignments well, and may do bad on tests... but I actually ENJOY lecture!)
  • I met Michele for lunch and caught up on lots of stuff that had gone on in the past many months!
  • I found out that my Stat Professor has ADD and OCD... like me, and she didn't get tested until after she had her Ph.D.!!! (we talked for a while about the similarities and differences between our disorders, and it was so motivating to hear her story. )
  • I saw my friend Gautham from high school after Stats on Friday... and found out he's actually in my class! We caught up a little on what had happened in the past year and a half!!
  • I found out that I was ACCEPTED to be an HIV Test Counselor!!! :)
  • I went to see You, Me, and Dupree at the dollar theatre with Dave, and the went had dinner at Wings Xtreme.

So I would say that was a GREAT week. Now after that week life will start to get much more hectic. October is scaring me a little. I have my training for the HIV Test Counselor position on Friday and Saturday October 13, and 14th... and then have a midterm on the 16, 17, AND 18 of October. Yikes.

Other than that, I can't wait for my niece to be born!!!
