Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! (well, tomorrow anyways) I'm preparing for my first Thanksgiving away from home. What will I do without my French pork stuffing (what is that bread stuff anyhow?) What will it be like to have butterscotch pie? What will it be like to be away from my parents? We shall see!! I was very sad at first to think that I would be missing the stuffing and cranberry sauce... and then my mom told me I'll get them at Christmas! YAY! I was so happy!! Anyhow... the food is NOT what thanksgiving is about (although... at home we always made a big deal about the food... and walking after the food... ) So here's a list of what I'm thankful for:

-Being sad that I won't be with my own family, because I'm so lucky to have one that I love and feel loved by
- Having a great boyfriend
-Having that boyfriend be from another great family
- My biggest worry being whether or not I get into graduate school
- Getting full nights of sleep
- Getting through 4+ years of college and still having the energy and enthusiasm to continue
- Being spoiled rotten, and knowing how much it means
- Coming from a family that taught me trying your hardest is the key to success
- Great friends that help/ have helped me along the way
- Finding such great opportunities and meeting such great people at OSU!
- and I know I've said this one twice already... but truly... without my parents I could not be who I am today, where I am today, or get to where I'm going in the future. I know they are truly my biggest gift in life, and am so thankful to have them!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Back at you kid! No, no we are the luckiest. Lots to be thankful for; that's for sure. I'll be with 3 1/2 of them this weekend.

A-hem...yes, you can attribute your thick skin and ability to handle rejection and hardship well to your LOVELY older sisters. ;)

Can't wait to see you in December. We're awfully lucky to have a little sis like you!
